Refund & Digital Product Policy

Refund & Digital Product Policy

Last updated: August 8, 2026

Thank you for purchasing from RipeLoop.

This Refund & Digital Product Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, download problems, and defective digital products are handled when you purchase digital content from ripeloop.online.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under applicable law.

1. Digital Products

RipeLoop currently sells digital products, including downloadable ebooks and guides.

Unless a product page specifically states otherwise:

No physical product will be shipped.

Our ebook Before You Bite — The Science-Backed Guide to Exotic Fruits is supplied electronically as a PDF file.

2. Digital Delivery

After successful payment, your digital product may be made available through:

  • The checkout Thank You page

  • Your Order Status page

  • A digital download email

  • Another electronic delivery method shown during checkout

Because delivery can begin immediately after payment, different cancellation and withdrawal rules may apply compared with physical goods.

3. EU / German Right of Withdrawal

Consumers in the European Union generally have a statutory right to withdraw from many distance contracts within:

14 days

without giving a reason.

For digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, such as a downloadable PDF ebook, special rules apply.

Where required by law, before receiving immediate access you may be asked to:

  1. Expressly agree that RipeLoop may begin supplying the digital content before the 14-day withdrawal period has expired, and

  2. Acknowledge that once supply of the digital content begins, you lose your statutory right of withdrawal.

Where all legal requirements for the loss of the withdrawal right are satisfied and delivery has begun, the statutory withdrawal right may therefore no longer apply.

If these requirements have not been satisfied, your statutory withdrawal rights remain unaffected.

4. Your Statutory Rights Come First

Nothing in this policy is intended to remove rights that cannot legally be excluded.

In particular, this policy does not prevent you from exercising rights relating to:

  • A defective digital product

  • A digital product that cannot be accessed

  • Failure to provide the purchased product

  • Material non-conformity with the agreed product

  • Any other remedy provided by mandatory consumer law

5. Change-of-Mind Refunds After Digital Delivery

Once your ebook has been successfully supplied and your statutory withdrawal right has validly expired, we generally do not provide refunds simply because:

  • You changed your mind

  • You no longer want the ebook

  • You did not read the product description before purchasing

  • You expected a physical book despite the product being identified as digital

  • You found similar information elsewhere

  • You did not personally enjoy the content or design

  • You purchased the product but later decided you did not need it

Digital files cannot be physically returned after delivery in the same way as physical goods.

This rule does not affect any mandatory statutory rights.

6. Accidental Duplicate Purchases

If you accidentally purchase the same digital product more than once, contact us as soon as possible.

Please provide:

  • Your name

  • Email address used for checkout

  • Relevant order numbers

If we can verify that the purchases were genuine duplicates, we may refund the duplicate transaction.

7. You Paid but Did Not Receive the Ebook

If your payment was completed but you did not receive access to your digital product:

First check:

  • Your email inbox

  • Spam or junk folder

  • Promotions folder

  • Order Status page

  • The email address used during checkout

If you still cannot access the file, contact:

[INSERT SUPPORT EMAIL]

Please include:

  • Your full name

  • Order number

  • Email address used for the order

  • Description of the issue

We will make reasonable efforts to provide the digital product you purchased.

A temporary delivery problem does not automatically require cancellation if the problem can be corrected promptly and without significant inconvenience.

8. Corrupt, Broken, or Unusable File

If the supplied file is:

  • Corrupted

  • Incomplete

  • Technically unusable

  • Incorrectly linked

  • The wrong purchased file

please contact us.

Where appropriate, our first step will usually be to:

  • Provide a replacement file

  • Restore download access

  • Correct the technical problem

  • Supply the correct product

If the problem cannot be remedied as required by applicable law, you may have additional statutory remedies.

9. Digital Product Does Not Match What Was Purchased

If you believe the digital product is materially different from the product description or otherwise defective, contact us with:

  • Your order number

  • Description of the issue

  • Relevant screenshots where useful

We will review the issue and, where appropriate, attempt to bring the digital product into conformity.

Mandatory legal remedies for defective digital products remain unaffected.

10. German Statutory Rights for Defective Digital Products

Where German consumer law applies, consumers may have statutory remedies if a digital product is defective.

Depending on the circumstances, these can include rights to:

  • Have the digital product brought into conformity

  • Terminate the contract where the legal requirements are met

  • Reduce the price

  • Claim damages where legally available

We do not replace or restrict those statutory rights with this policy.

11. Incorrect Purchase

Please carefully review the product page before placing your order.

If you accidentally purchase the wrong RipeLoop product and have not yet accessed or downloaded it, contact us immediately.

Where technically and legally possible, we may review whether the order can be cancelled or corrected.

If digital delivery has already begun and the applicable statutory withdrawal right has validly expired, we are not required to provide a change-of-mind refund unless another legal right applies.

12. Compatibility

Before purchasing, please review the product format.

RipeLoop ebooks are generally supplied as:

PDF files

PDF files can normally be opened on modern:

  • Smartphones

  • Tablets

  • Laptops

  • Desktop computers

You are responsible for having a device and software capable of opening the stated file format.

If the file itself is valid but your particular device or third-party software is incompatible despite the compatibility information provided before purchase, this does not automatically mean the digital product is defective.

Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

13. Medical or Personal Expectations

RipeLoop products are educational resources.

A refund is not automatically available because:

  • A food did not produce a hoped-for health effect

  • You disagree with a scientific conclusion

  • You expected medical advice

  • You expected personalized nutritional guidance

  • You expected a guaranteed health outcome

RipeLoop does not promise that foods discussed in our products will prevent, diagnose, cure, or treat disease.

14. Unauthorized Sharing Does Not Create a Refund Right

Purchasing a digital product gives you a personal-use license.

You may not obtain a refund by:

  • Downloading the product

  • Copying or distributing it

  • Sharing it with others

  • Then requesting repayment

Unauthorized distribution may violate our Terms of Service and intellectual-property rights.

This does not affect any statutory right you may independently have.

15. How Refunds Are Issued

Where a refund is approved or legally required, it will normally be returned using the:

original payment method

unless another method is expressly agreed and legally permitted.

Processing times after we issue a refund can depend on:

  • Your bank

  • Credit-card issuer

  • Payment provider

RipeLoop does not control the time a bank or payment provider takes to display a completed refund.

16. Withdrawal Before Digital Delivery Begins

If you have a statutory withdrawal right and digital delivery has not begun in a manner that validly causes that right to expire, you may exercise your withdrawal right within the applicable statutory period.

For qualifying EU distance contracts, this period is generally:

14 days from conclusion of the contract for digital content not supplied on a physical medium.

Please see our separate:

Withdrawal / Cancellation Information

for instructions and the legally required information.

17. Electronic Withdrawal Function

Where applicable under EU law, RipeLoop will provide customers with an electronic method to exercise an existing statutory right of withdrawal through the store.

The availability of such a function does not create a withdrawal right where that right has already validly expired under the rules governing immediately supplied digital content.

Nothing in this section limits legitimate statutory consumer rights.
