Terms of Service

Last updated: August 8, 2026

Welcome to RipeLoop.

These Terms of Service govern your use of ripeloop.online and purchases made through the RipeLoop online store.

By accessing our website or purchasing a product from us, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

1. About RipeLoop

The RipeLoop online store is operated by:

RipeLoop

Legal name: [INSERT FULL LEGAL NAME / BUSINESS NAME]

Business address:
[INSERT FULL BUSINESS ADDRESS]
Germany

Email: [INSERT BUSINESS EMAIL]

Website: ripeloop.online

Additional legally required business information is available in our Imprint / Legal Notice.

2. Our Products

RipeLoop currently offers digital educational products, including ebooks and downloadable guides.

Unless a product page expressly states otherwise:

RipeLoop products are digital products only.

No physical book, package, or other physical item will be shipped.

Our current flagship product, Before You Bite — The Science-Backed Guide to Exotic Fruits, is supplied as a downloadable PDF ebook.

3. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to describe our products accurately.

Product pages may contain information including:

  • Product descriptions

  • Preview images

  • Number of fruits or topics covered

  • File format

  • Pricing

  • Digital-delivery information

  • Device compatibility information

Digital-product previews are provided to help you understand the general content and design of the product.

Minor differences in formatting or appearance may occur depending on:

  • Device

  • Screen size

  • Browser

  • PDF reader

  • Operating system

Such differences do not necessarily indicate a defect in the digital product.

4. Educational Purpose

RipeLoop products and website content are provided for:

general educational and informational purposes only.

Our content may discuss:

  • Food

  • Nutrition

  • Vitamins and minerals

  • Scientific studies

  • Health-related research

  • Food safety

  • Dietary considerations

This information is not intended to constitute:

  • Medical advice

  • Diagnosis

  • Treatment

  • A prescription

  • Personalized nutrition advice

  • A substitute for professional healthcare

Always seek appropriate professional advice regarding medical conditions, allergies, medication use, pregnancy, kidney disease, dietary restrictions, or other individual health concerns.

Never delay or discontinue professional medical treatment because of information found on RipeLoop.

5. No Medical or Health Guarantees

RipeLoop does not guarantee that consuming any food discussed in our products will:

  • Prevent disease

  • Treat disease

  • Cure disease

  • Cause weight loss

  • Improve a particular medical condition

  • Produce a specific health outcome

Scientific research develops over time, and findings may change as new evidence becomes available.

We aim to communicate evidence responsibly, but no educational publication can guarantee that every scientific conclusion will remain unchanged indefinitely.

6. Placing an Order

To purchase a product, follow the checkout process displayed on our website.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide during checkout is:

  • Accurate

  • Complete

  • Current

This includes your email address.

For digital purchases, your email address is particularly important because it may be used to send:

  • Order confirmation

  • Digital download links

  • Purchase-related communications

Please review your information carefully before completing your order.

7. Contract Formation

By submitting an order, you make a binding offer to purchase the selected product.

Unless the checkout process expressly states otherwise, we may accept your offer by:

  • Providing access to the purchased digital product, or

  • Sending an express confirmation that we have accepted your order.

Any automatic technical confirmation acknowledging receipt of an order does not necessarily constitute acceptance unless it expressly states otherwise.

Mandatory rules of applicable consumer law remain unaffected.

8. Prices

The price applicable to your purchase is the price displayed during checkout before you submit your order.

Prices may be changed for future purchases at any time.

A later price change does not alter the price of an order already concluded.

Any applicable taxes will be handled or displayed according to the checkout configuration and applicable law.

You are responsible for reviewing the final order total before completing payment.

9. Payments

Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.

Payments may be processed by Shopify and/or third-party payment providers.

Your use of a payment method may also be subject to the applicable payment provider's terms and privacy policies.

We may delay or refuse delivery where:

  • Payment has not been successfully completed

  • A transaction has been declined

  • Fraud is reasonably suspected

  • The order violates applicable law or these Terms

10. Digital Delivery

Digital products are normally made available after successful payment.

Delivery may occur through:

  • A download option on the Thank You page

  • The Order Status page

  • A digital delivery email

  • Another electronic method identified during checkout

For Before You Bite, the product is supplied as a PDF file.

You are responsible for having:

  • A compatible device

  • Internet access necessary to obtain the file

  • Software capable of opening a PDF

Most modern phones, tablets, computers, and browsers support PDF files.

11. Delivery Problems

If you successfully paid for a product but cannot access your download, contact us at:

[INSERT SUPPORT EMAIL]

Please provide:

  • Your name

  • Order number, if available

  • Email address used during checkout

  • Description of the problem

We will make reasonable efforts to restore access to a valid purchase.

12. Digital Content and Right of Withdrawal

Consumers may have statutory rights of withdrawal or cancellation depending on their location.

For consumers covered by EU or German consumer law, special rules apply to digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium.

Where legally permitted, you may be asked during checkout to:

  1. Expressly consent to RipeLoop beginning delivery of the digital content before the statutory withdrawal period expires, and

  2. Acknowledge that by giving this consent, you lose your statutory right of withdrawal once performance of the digital-content contract begins.

Where the legal requirements for loss of the withdrawal right have not been satisfied, any statutory withdrawal rights remain unaffected.

Please also review our separate:

Withdrawal / Cancellation Policy

and:

Refund & Digital Product Policy

for additional information.

13. Refunds

Because digital products can be delivered immediately and cannot practically be physically returned, refunds are handled according to our:

Refund & Digital Product Policy

However, nothing in that policy or these Terms excludes rights that you have under mandatory consumer law.

If digital content is defective, inaccessible, materially different from what was agreed, or otherwise fails to satisfy rights provided by applicable law, statutory remedies remain available.

14. Personal-Use License

When you purchase a RipeLoop ebook or other digital product, you receive a limited right to use that product for:

YOUR OWN PERSONAL USE.

Unless we expressly give you written permission, your purchase does not transfer ownership of RipeLoop's intellectual-property rights.

You may:

  • Download the purchased file to your personal devices

  • Read it for personal use

  • Keep a personal backup

  • Print a copy for your own personal use

You may not commercially exploit the content.

15. You May Not Redistribute the Ebook

You must not:

  • Resell the ebook

  • Upload it publicly

  • Upload it to file-sharing platforms

  • Distribute copies to other people

  • Share the download link publicly

  • Sell printed copies

  • Repackage the content as your own product

  • Translate and distribute it without permission

  • Reproduce substantial portions for commercial purposes

  • Remove branding and claim authorship

  • Use the content to create an unauthorized competing product

If another person wants a copy, please direct them to:

ripeloop.online

16. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content available through RipeLoop—including original:

  • Text

  • Ebook layouts

  • Branding

  • Logos

  • Illustrations

  • Graphics

  • Product designs

  • Educational material

  • Website copy

is owned by or licensed to RipeLoop and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

The name:

RipeLoop

and our branding may not be used in a way that falsely suggests:

  • Sponsorship

  • Partnership

  • Approval

  • Affiliation

without permission.

17. Permitted Website Use

You may use the RipeLoop website for lawful personal purposes, including:

  • Browsing

  • Reading public content

  • Purchasing products

  • Contacting us

  • Accessing products you purchased

You agree not to misuse the website or interfere with its normal operation.

18. Prohibited Conduct

You must not knowingly use the website to:

  • Commit fraud

  • Make fraudulent purchases

  • Access another customer's account or order

  • Introduce malware or malicious code

  • Attempt unauthorized access to our systems

  • Circumvent download protections

  • Scrape or systematically copy protected content for unauthorized commercial use

  • Interfere with website security

  • Violate applicable law

  • Infringe intellectual-property rights

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect our store, customers, or legal rights.

19. Third-Party Services

Our store may use third-party services including:

  • Shopify

  • Payment providers

  • Digital-delivery services

  • Analytics providers

  • Email services

  • Other ecommerce applications

Certain features may therefore depend on systems that RipeLoop does not directly control.

Use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

20. Third-Party Links

RipeLoop may link to websites or resources operated by third parties.

A link does not necessarily mean that RipeLoop:

  • Owns the website

  • Controls it

  • Endorses every statement on it

  • Guarantees its availability or security

Third-party websites are responsible for their own content, services, and privacy practices.

21. Scientific Sources and External Information

Our educational products may reference:

  • Scientific publications

  • Government databases

  • Botanical databases

  • Universities

  • Medical organizations

  • Other external sources

These organizations are independent from RipeLoop unless expressly stated otherwise.

Reference to a source does not imply that the source:

  • Sponsors RipeLoop

  • Endorses RipeLoop

  • Endorses our commercial products

22. Availability of the Website

We aim to keep the RipeLoop website and digital-delivery systems available, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of:

  • Maintenance

  • Hosting issues

  • Payment-provider outages

  • Shopify disruptions

  • Internet failures

  • Security incidents

  • Events outside our reasonable control

If an interruption affects delivery of a paid digital product, contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to provide access.

23. Updates to Digital Products

We may occasionally correct or update a digital product.

Examples include:

  • Typographical corrections

  • Formatting improvements

  • Updated references

  • Clarifications

  • Factual corrections

Where an updated file is made available to existing purchasers, this does not necessarily mean that purchasers are entitled to all future products, editions, expansions, or separately sold content.

Any mandatory rights relating to updates or conformity of digital products remain unaffected.

24. Customer Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Reading product descriptions before buying

  • Reviewing applicable policies

  • Providing an accurate email address

  • Protecting your download link

  • Protecting files stored on your device

  • Using health and nutrition information responsibly

  • Following applicable safety instructions

Do not consume an unfamiliar fruit or plant part merely because it appears similar to something shown in educational material.

Correct identification, preparation, individual health circumstances, and local conditions matter.

25. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

In particular, any mandatory liability for matters such as:

  • Intentional misconduct

  • Gross negligence

  • Injury to life, body, or health

  • Mandatory product liability

  • Other liability that cannot legally be excluded

remains unaffected.

Where liability for ordinary negligence may legally be limited, liability is limited to breaches of essential contractual obligations and to losses that were reasonably foreseeable when the contract was concluded, subject always to mandatory consumer law.

26. Force Majeure and Events Outside Our Control

To the extent permitted by law, RipeLoop is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

These may include:

  • Major internet outages

  • Hosting failures

  • Payment-network failures

  • Government actions

  • Natural disasters

  • Cyberattacks despite reasonable safeguards

  • Other comparable events

This does not remove any statutory rights you may have when contractual obligations are not fulfilled.

27. Privacy

Our collection and processing of personal information is explained in our:

Privacy Policy

Please review it together with these Terms.

28. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time for reasons including:

  • Changes to our products

  • Changes to our website

  • Changes to service providers

  • Legal developments

  • Security requirements

  • Business changes

The current version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.

Changes do not retroactively remove rights that already arose under a completed purchase unless applicable law permits otherwise.

29. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unenforceable, or unlawful, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

Where possible, the invalid provision should be replaced or interpreted in a manner that most closely reflects its lawful intended purpose.

30. Governing Law

These Terms and contracts with RipeLoop are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law rules to the extent legally permissible.

If you are a consumer living outside Germany, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under the laws of your country of residence where such protections cannot legally be waived.
