This page explains the statutory right of withdrawal that may apply when consumers purchase from RipeLoop.
Nothing on this page limits any mandatory consumer rights provided by applicable law.
1. Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer and a statutory right of withdrawal applies to your purchase, you generally have the right to withdraw from the contract within:
14 DAYS
without giving a reason.
For digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, the withdrawal period generally begins on the day the contract is concluded.
2. How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal
To exercise an existing right of withdrawal, you must clearly inform us that you wish to withdraw from the contract.
You may do this using the electronic withdrawal function provided on our website where available and applicable.
You may also send a clear withdrawal declaration to:

Your declaration does not need to contain any particular wording, provided it clearly communicates your decision to withdraw from the contract.
3. Electronic Withdrawal Function
Where required by applicable law, RipeLoop provides an electronic withdrawal function through the online store.
The function allows you to submit information needed to identify:

The electronic contact method to which confirmation should be sent
After submitting the withdrawal request through the electronic function, you will receive confirmation of receipt electronically.
The electronic withdrawal function is intended to make exercising an existing statutory withdrawal right straightforward.
It does not create a new withdrawal right where the statutory right has already validly expired.
4. Digital Products and Immediate Delivery
RipeLoop currently sells digital products, including:

Because customers generally want immediate access after payment, digital delivery may begin before the ordinary 14-day withdrawal period has expired.
5. Loss of the Withdrawal Right for Immediately Supplied Digital Content
Where permitted by applicable law, before immediate delivery begins you may be asked to:

Expressly consent to RipeLoop beginning performance of the contract before the withdrawal period expires, and
-
Confirm that you understand that your statutory right of withdrawal is lost once RipeLoop begins supplying the digital content.
Where all legally required conditions are satisfied and delivery begins, your statutory withdrawal right for that digital content expires.
6. Example of the Consent Required for Immediate Download
Where applicable, checkout should require an express statement substantially equivalent to:
“I expressly agree that RipeLoop may begin supplying the digital content before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period. I understand that by giving this consent, I lose my statutory right of withdrawal once delivery of the digital content begins.”
This consent should not be assumed merely because you placed an order.
7. If the Required Consent Was Not Properly Obtained
If the legal requirements for early expiration of the withdrawal right have not been fulfilled, any statutory withdrawal right you have remains unaffected.
Simply receiving a digital product does not allow RipeLoop to disregard mandatory consumer-law requirements.
8. Confirmation of Your Consent
Where immediate digital delivery causes the statutory withdrawal right to expire, the contract confirmation provided to you should record that you:

Expressly consented to delivery beginning before expiration of the withdrawal period, and
-
Acknowledged that your withdrawal right would be lost once delivery began
This information may be provided electronically, such as by email or another durable electronic record.
9. What Happens if You Validly Withdraw?
If you validly exercise an applicable statutory right of withdrawal, we will handle the withdrawal and any repayment obligations in accordance with applicable law.
Where a refund is due, it will generally be made using the same payment method originally used for the transaction unless another method is expressly agreed and legally permitted.
10. Digital Products Already Delivered
If:

You expressly requested immediate digital delivery,

You acknowledged the loss of your withdrawal right,
-
The required confirmation was provided, and
-
RipeLoop began supplying the digital product,
then the statutory withdrawal right may have expired.
In that situation, a change-of-mind cancellation will generally no longer be available under the statutory withdrawal rules.
This does not remove rights you may have if the digital product is defective or otherwise fails to comply with mandatory consumer law.
11. Problems With Your Digital Product
A withdrawal is different from a complaint about a defective product.
If your ebook is:

Inaccessible

The wrong file

Incomplete
-
Materially different from what was agreed
please contact us.
Your statutory rights relating to defective or non-conforming digital products remain unaffected.

13. Cancellation Before Delivery
If you contact us before digital delivery has begun, we will review whether the order can still be cancelled.
However, because RipeLoop is designed to provide immediate digital access after successful payment, the period between purchase and delivery may be extremely short.
14. Change of Mind After Withdrawal Right Has Expired
Once immediate digital delivery has validly begun and the statutory withdrawal right has expired, we generally do not provide cancellation merely because:

You expected a physical product despite the product being described as digital

You decided not to read it

15. Consumers Outside the European Union
Consumer cancellation and refund rights can vary depending on your country, state, or region.
Where local law gives you mandatory rights that cannot be excluded, those rights remain unaffected by this policy.
